London On Film
2025-07-01 - Series 2 edited down to 12 photographs.
The first series of six was edited down from twelve photographs. The second series of nine was edited down from eighteen photographs. Ideally there will be a final series of eighteen photographs maximum.
Interestingly, my photographic vision has evolved since I began this project.
Still early days, but I’m noticing emerging patterns. The third roll of film is at the Lab. I should have the scans tomorrow.
The challenge lies in refinement. I’ve been contemplating the narrative arc—what story do I want each series to convey? How can I evoke a visual and emotional connection for viewers through these images?
The first series of photographs will reflect the first 31 days of this 365 day journey. The themes for each series will undoubtedly change as I move through the seasons. Interestingly, I have moved on from the healing journey which triggered this 365 Day Project. Each series will no doubt be a labour of love, reflecting countless moments spent camera in hand.
I am eager to see how my vision unfolds and how the final collections will narrate the story. One aspect I am particularly focused on is creating variety, especially in terms of distance.
